hey guys, its at that time of year, when my coach is starting to pick tha crews for tha importantest regatta for secoundry skools in nz, this year its in the south island so they're only taking a couple of crews, what are some things i can do to up my chances of being picked over the other 4 coxes?? they're only taking two, i'm pretty sure i'm already going, but just to be sure what are some things to get me picked??

one thing you can do is stop being so damn cocky! You just gotta do what you know how. Its not all about you either, its about what those other girls want/need from a cox. Dont do what is best for you, or what will get you to go! Do what those girls need and you will make them win, you will be the cox that goes!

im not being 'cocky' the onli reason i thnk im alredy going is coz of thngs tha coach is saying, and bcoz, one of our coxes cant steer 2 save herself and tha other one started about 2 weeks ago...

yeh i actually agree with the other person - not that ur cocky, i couldnt really tell if u were from wat u said. but the other person was right about wat the crew wants and needs, and u just hav to be able to deliver it

My one piece of advice would be to focus on yourself and not on what all the other coxies are doing b/c if you get caught up in them you will not do your best. I should know..i got caught up in the other cox and i didn't get to go to head of the charles. Well Good Luck!
