I lost my voice a lot over the course of the season. I know we all do at some point, but this year at regionals it got to the point where in one race I could barely talk normally let alone cox. It was in the first 500 of my third race that day. I have never experienced anyting like it. I was completley unable to drop my voice. It was all I could do to count tens and the sprint was hell.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Do you cox and 8's or 4's? Also are you using a cox box or a vox at least....if not then there is your problem. Also try to not strain your voice too much at practices if you are having this problem and let it rest before races, like opera singers who dont talk AT ALL the day before they sing Maybe also try sucking on candies ahaa it helped me once..Hope this helps a bit!!
