Hey hey, Me again... Well, my crew and I have officially become the most dodgy people to hit the fine waters of South Africa... We have put up a chart in which we put the most arrogant things we say and then at the end of the week we select a winner.. So far it is a tie between myself and my stroke man but i've been coming up with some goodies... anything from "If I wasn't getting a free ride, Id be walking on water" to the good ol' "Jesus Im Good!" Its a bit of a random post but I was just wondering if fellow coxies could help this twisted mind with a few comments... I will not be beaten by my stroke man... I will win... I had a good last weekend...
Just before the start of our 8+ race, I announced to my crew "Welcome to heaven" my number 3 asked me "Why Is this heaven, Im shitting myself" then i so arrogantly replied "Well where else do you get to be driven (driven = my clubs terms for coxed, driver = coxie) by God" I won last week!

Yeah, i tend to use the phrase "Silence Peasant" quite a lot.. I once told my crew that I was God, they didnt seem too impressed though... Guess they thought I was lying...

This all reminds me of an outing one day many years ago....
I was coxing the second boat. We were doing very well that day against the first boat. Their cox'n (who was excellent) was giving them a tongue lashing during/after each piece. Finally, after we beat them yet again someone in their bow four yelled at her to say something positive. With an air of royal arrogance, she responded with "Okay, I'll tell you something positive about that last piece, ...it positively S--KED!"
