I asked this before with little to no response. what are some major differences between college coxing and HS coxing.

I am getting bored of my hs crew, can't wait for the next big coxing challenge.

it may be different for you but I think college rowing is a little more serious at times, but a lot more fun when you're looking for something to do on the weekends when your not racing. I think the girls/guys are a lot more mature so they learn faster. I like it better, but hs wasn't that bad for me. Hope that helps.

The biggest difference for me was that we weren't allowed to do fall racing as a school in HS, so the first time I ever did a head race was college.

Every team is different, so there will be new challenges, politics, emphasises, and so on. What kind of college team are you looking to row for?
